Accessibility statement

Ronix Films aims to make its photography and film portfolio usable by people with disabilities. Our technical work is guided by Israeli Standard SI 5568 and applicable AA requirements. This statement is not a certification or a claim of full compliance.
Features available
- Keyboard-operated links and buttons, a skip-to-content link, visible focus, and native modal dialogs. The gallery and accessibility dialog provide a close button, Escape handling, and return focus to their opening button.
- Named navigation, headings, image descriptions, and labelled gallery controls.
- Text enlargement up to 200% through the accessibility menu, high contrast, highlighted links, increased text spacing, reduced animations, and reset. Preferences are saved on your device when browser storage is available.
- Responsive layouts, browser zoom support, and respect for the device’s reduced-motion setting.
- Videos, when added, start only when you press play. The player requests available captions; a direct YouTube link and any supplied transcript, visual description or audio-described version are provided.
Verification and limitations
The implementation was reviewed in source code. TypeScript, lint checks (no errors), server-rendered homepage structure, gallery control names and colour calculations passed. These checks do not replace browser or assistive-technology testing. Full testing with NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack, browser zoom and real mobile devices is still required. We have not obtained an independent accessibility audit.
New gallery content requires meaningful image descriptions. Each future video must be reviewed for accurate captions, relevant sounds and information conveyed only visually. Requesting captions in the player does not create them; a text description alone does not replace audio description where it is required. YouTube and WhatsApp are external services whose interfaces we do not control.

Technical review record
- Reviewed: modal names and focus handling, navigation landmarks, alternative-text fields, preferences and reset, video player settings, and server-side editor restrictions.
- Colour calculations: white on #0A0B0A and dark text on #FF8600 meet the normal-text contrast threshold. Actual text over photographs and all interaction states still require visual review.
- Pending: assistive-technology testing, full keyboard journeys, 200% enlargement, 320 CSS-pixel reflow, text-spacing overrides, all preference combinations, and professional review in Israel.
